A 10 day all-inclusive Vacation exploring the food and flavors of Northern Italy with your personal Chef. For lovers of Food, Beauty and Fine Arts.

We’ll cook and eat together the best Italian dishes, according to the season, Foods like porcini and chanterelle mushrooms, white truffles, local meats and seafood, regional salumi and cheeses, fresh vegetables and of course- handmade pastas;

We’ll drink and appreciate my favorite Italian Wines: Barolo and Barbaresco, Valpolicella and Amarone, Sangiovese, Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Super Tuscans

Guided tour of the famous food markets in Bologna;

Personal cooking lessons at my mountain retreat in the Apennines

Dining in my favorite restaurants, picnicking in the woods, cooking Pellegrino Artusi traditional recipes in my kitchen;

Visiting local farmers, wine cellars and markets;

Visit to the Sanctuary of La Verna (Tuscany) founded by St. Francis of Assisi: here we’ll admire the beautiful works of lead-glazed terracotta by Andrea Della Robbia;

Visit to Borgo San Sepolcro (Tuscany), home of the painter Piero della Francesca, where we’ll visit the local museum with frescoes of the Resurrection of Christ and the Polyptych of the Misericordia;

Visit to Monterchi (Tuscany) where we’ll admire Piero della Franceasca’s Madonna del Parto;

Sant’Agata Feltria, Pennabilli, Monte Fumaiolo are just some of the dozens of welcoming towns and villages where art mixes with food, natural beauty and tradition, creating an intimate charm for those who visit;

Visit Venice meandering through the picturesque Venetian canals to the famous Rialto Seafood Market where we will enjoy Prosecco aperitives,  lunch at a typical venetian Bacaro (Osteria) and a walk to Piazza San Marco.

Unlock the secrets to Italian cuisine with this 7 day all inclusive tour in Northern Italy with your own personal chef.

This Culinary Vacation will start on Monday in Bologna, where you will learn how to cook traditional Northern Italian food in a cooking school. Each day begins at the local market where you and your chef will decide what to make each day based on seasonal availability.  One day you’ll spend touring the local food producers that make Emilia Romagna famous around the world- Parmigiano Reggiano, and Prosciutto.  On Friday you’ll head to the mountains where you will head to the Apennines. In this cozy mountain setting you’ll cook over a fireplace and bake meats, bread and pizza in a 300 yr old stone oven that was once used by the monks to feed the locals.  In between you’ll travel the countryside visiting beautiful Tuscan towns and villages like Sansepolcro (home of the Renaissance painter Piero della Franceasca), Montefeltro (ruled by Federico da Montefeltro, one of the most successful condottieri of the Italian Renaissance and Lord of Urbino) or local food producers. On Sunday you will be returned to Bologna Airport or  train station for you departure.
